AIRCABLE. is based in San Jose, California, manufactures and sells patented long-range Bluetooth®-based wireless devices for communication with Mobile Phones, PDAs, PCs, and sensors under the brand name AIRcable™.

Our main product is the AIRcable SMD, a Bluetooth surface mount module for various applications. We use that engine in all our our products. The three main markets we target are: cable replacement, wireless sensors, and the new cutting edge arena of proximity marketing. We also make versions for stereo audio transmission, MP3/ACC en/decoding, human interface device for long range keyboard/mouse connections etc.

Our products are designed to be as easy to use as cables. No complex wireless connection software or intimate knowledge of Bluetooth is required to connect your serial device to your PC. For example, when you use our AIRcable USB-Serial, which is not a common Bluetooth dongle product, the Bluetooth software runs inside the hardware module and does not require any Bluetooth software to be installed on your PC.

We made Bluetooth "intelligent" by building an operating system for the Bluetooth module and a BASIC code interpreter which manages the connections. Many profiles (serial SPP, dial up networking, file transfer, obex, A2DP, HID etc.) are already integrated into the module and available to use from the BASIC code.

Therefore AIRcable provides the most flexible, powerful and cost effective Bluetooth product in the market. In addition to the point-to-point, cable mode connection, AIRcable can also be configured to provide Bluetooth service to other devices, to find other Bluetooth devices automatically and more.
